Come to Cuba with IFCO in Feb — or ????
Is your suitcase packed?
OK! Now’s the time. Let’s go to Cuba!
Yes, you can — even if Trump doesn’t want you to
Despite the Trump Administration’s efforts to reverse the openings made under Obama and to discourage travel to Cuba, we know there are many people in the US who want to see the REAL Cuba.
That’s why IFCO is planning several delegations for the spring and fall of 2018. Now is the time to begin planning your Cuba trip.
Here’s some quick info about upcoming trips:
Feb 1-10: Culture and Agriculture:
This delegation will explore Cuba’s art scene, both fine arts and music. We’ll visit museums, artists in their studios and experience Cuban music at the source. We’ll also delve into how Cuba does sustainable food production, visit farms, gardens and more. And we will explore how Cuba prepares for hurricanes.
(The window on this delegation is still open, but closing fast. We have a couple slots left, but we’re booking the plane tickets, so if you’re interested, let us know sooner rather than later.)
March 30-April 8: Health and Education:
This delegation will explore how health intersects with education in Cuba. Through face-to-face exchanges, we’ll learn more about healthcare, education and culture in Cuba.
May Day in Cuba:
Celebrate this national holiday with the Cuban people! Be in the stands and watch a parade like you’ve never seen before! We’ll also explore and enjoy other aspects of Cuban society and culture. (This trip is just now being planned with our Cuban friends – exact dates will be available soon, but it includes being in Cuba over May 1!)
Next fall (dates being determined): plan ahead for your delegation to explore Cuban reality.
